About Unified Council UIMO
UIMO is Unified Council's maths olympiad for exactly the classes we teach, Class 1 to 10. It is a single 1-hour objective paper with a maths section, a logical reasoning section and a short critical-thinking section.

Levels & Rounds
Single paper
UIMO ranks students on one 1-hour paper. There is no second round to qualify for.
Section-wise pattern (as per Unified Council)
- Classes 1–2: Mathematics 30 + Logical Reasoning 10 = 40 marks
- Classes 3–5: Mathematics 35 + Logical Reasoning 10 + Critical Thinking 5 = 50 marks
- Classes 6–10: Mathematics-1 30 + Mathematics-2 15 + Logical Reasoning 10 + Critical Thinking 5 = 60 marks
Awards
As listed for 2026-27: a large cash prize for the overall UIMO topper, laptops/tablets for top rankers in each class, cash prizes for further ranks and separate state-topper recognition.

Can a child appear in UIMO without the school?
The offline UIMO is through schools. Unified Council also runs an online UIMO exam with direct registration. Check the official site for the current process.
How much of UIMO is pure maths?
Most of it. For Classes 6–10, 45 of the 60 marks are mathematics; the rest is logical reasoning and critical thinking.
Which classes do you prepare for Unified Council UIMO?
We prepare students of Class 1 to 10, in class-wise live online batches. Unified Council UIMO is open to classes 1 to 10 as per the organiser.
